Exploration Place is proud to announce that on Friday, February 17, 2017, it will host the Ninth Annual Wichita Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Each year, academic and industry professionals are requested to serve as judges for the fair and Exploration Place would be honored if you would serve as a judge this year.

The Wichita Regional Science and Engineering Fair serves grades 4-12 from Saline, Sedgwick, Marion, McPherson, Sumner, Rice, Kingman, Harvey, Harper, Reno, Pratt, Greenwood, Butler, Stafford, Cowley, Chase and Barber counties. It is one of nine regional fairs that feed to the Kansas State Science and Engineering Fair (KSSEF) on March 31, 2017.

Judging for the Regional Fair at Exploration Place begins at 9 a.m. and will end by 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017. Judges are asked to review projects based on their expertise and are given a rubric in which to follow. Students submitting projects are given the rubric in advance in order to properly prepare their projects. Lunch is provided and judges are welcome to stay and observe the awards ceremony at 3 p.m.

Please complete the Judges Form by following this link. The form will assist in placing you with the appropriate projects, as well as allow EP to continue building a database of all possible judging candidates for future fairs. Please fill out the form no later than February 3.

I would like to thank you for your consideration of this request. Please do not hesitate to contact Traci Kallhoff at Traci.Kallhoff@exploration.org with any questions.
