If you can’t give of your time to volunteer or mentor, there are a number of other ways that you could help to support STEMpact2020 and our partners.  Here is a list of some of our partner’s needs:

Material Donations

USD259 Career and Technical Education Departments are in need of supplies for manufacturing classes, including:

  • scrap metal (specifically aluminum)
  • wood
  • pipe
  • rivets
  • and other consumables.

In addition, equipment and tools that your company might be phasing out of your facility can also be accepted depending on space available at each school.  Needs vary by school.

These donations can be tax deductible and even returned to your company once the school has consumed the product for recycling (ex: scrap metal).

Please contact Jim Means with any questions at jmeans2@usd259.net or 316-973-4511.

Monetary Donations

Donate to STEMpact2020

The best gift you can give is your time, but if you would like to donate money, we can use that, too. Donations defray the costs of managing, training and equipping volunteers to do STEM mentoring.
