Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) professionals can be Bigs with Big Brothers Big Sisters! Use your STEM skill to do STEM activities while building a lasting relationship with a Little at a local Wichita school. By doing so, encourage a youth to discover potential STEM future that they may have never been exposed to.
Many of the youth in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program have never met a STEM professional nor do they know what a STEM professional does, and therefore have no idea of the potential STEM careers they could pursue.
Bigs in Schools are provided activity plans they can do with their Littles as well as given opportunities to participate in STEM related events throughout the year. Bigs are also paired based on common preferences and interest in order to ensure a successful match.
